Early voting for Nevada’s 2026 Primary Election is now underway across Southern Nevada. In short, registered voters can cast a ballot from Saturday, May 23 through Friday, June 5. Election Day then follows on Tuesday, June 9. Because turnout shapes funding for schools and local services, the Philippine Times of Southern Nevada encourages Filipino-American families to vote early. As a bonus, voting early also helps you avoid long Election Day lines.
This issue’s cover story breaks down the options Clark County voters have this primary season. Notably, the county automatically mails ballots to all active registered voters, so many residents can vote without leaving home.
Not registered yet? Fortunately, Nevada allows same-day registration at any early voting or Election Day location. As a result, eligible residents can register and vote in a single visit. Simply bring a valid Nevada driver’s license or ID showing a current address.
This article summarizes the cover story from the May 31–June 14, 2026 edition (Vol. 21, No. 868). For the complete report, including additional voter resources, read the full newspaper online: Philippine Times of Southern Nevada — May 31, 2026 Edition.
