Alden Richards and Julia Montes just finished shooting their upcoming film, “Five Break-ups and a Romance.”
According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Tuesday, the film was shot in 13 days.
Julia became emotional on their last shooting day, while Alden exchanged a hug with their director, Irene Villamor.
“Ang hirap niya i-goodbye hindi lang ‘yung character kundi ‘yung journey n’yo na magkakasama kayo as a group, ‘yung working relationship n’yo lahat di mo matatawaran ‘yun so dun ako nase-senti,” Julia said.
Alden, meanwhile, said that the film is not your usual love story.
“Realidad siya sa kung ano talaga ‘yung nangyayaring love story sa totoong buhay, hindi ‘to superficial,” he said.
“At saka siguro ‘yun ‘yung magic ni Direk Irene e, ‘yung papasukin talaga ‘yung emosyon mo,” Julia added.
GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes said she is excited for the film’s release.
“Nakita ko ‘yung mga rushes paunti-unti and wow ang galing-galing ng mga artista talaga nina Alden at saka ni Julia. Tingin ko isa pa itong masterpiece ni Direk Irene,” she said.
Direk Irene is the genius behind “On Vodka, Beers, and Regrets,” “Ulan,” and “Meet me in St. Gallen.”
“Five Break-ups and a Romance” is the first collaboration between GMA Pictures, Cornerstone Studios, and MYRIAD Corporation, Alden’s multimedia company.
