Three Filipino-Americans will be honored this weekend for their inimitable contributions in their chosen fields:
Maner Puyawan for Information Technology, Reimund Serafica for Education and Healthcare, and Erica Mosca for Civic Engagement.
They are the Golden Pearl Awardees in the 2024 Filipino American Heritage Foundation (FAHF) Gala Night “Dreams…Making Them Realities” at the Milan Ballroom of the M Resort Spa Casino.
This October – being Filipino American History Month – is the perfect time for Fil-Ams to celebrate each other in whatever way, shape, or form:
Dinner and drinks, songs and dances, trophies and certificates, plaques and prizes, glitter and gold, music and merriment. It’s an all-in-one revelry from 6:00 PM onward, this Saturday, October 12th.
Who else will be there? Consul Marie Cris Chieng of the Philippine Consulate General of Los Angeles will set the tone of the evening with an inspiring message. Mystical dancer Erlich Ocampo, pop vocalist Rizza Navales, rapper and songwriter Ez Mil, and the dynamic non-profit Immix Alliance will provide world-class entertainment.
Award-winning artist, songwriter, entrepreneur, advocate for education and the arts, philanthropist, and founding member of the Grammy Award-winning Black Eyed Peas, Apl.de.Ap will engage in a fireside chat and touch on how his journey from humble beginnings to global stardom embodies the very essence of the gala’s theme “Dreams…Making Them Realities.”
Naturally, the vibrant and committed members of the FAHF with their innovative and visionary President Dr. Romualdo Aragon Jr and community-empowering, energetic Vice President Gloria Caoile will make sure everyone brings home their share of the Filipino-American dreams made real. That’s a heritage worth preserving in the pages of Fil-Am history.
